  1. Storm into STEAMtober! (Grades 4-12)

As part of Plano Public Library’s 60th anniversary celebration, October brings a storm of excitement with STEAMtober and this year’s theme is weather! Programs for all ages will explore everything from water and rainwater to wind, clouds, natural disasters, and the sun. We’ll even welcome WFAA Weatherminds for a special visit! WFAA Weatherminds (Grades 5+)

Meteorologists from WFAA will share all about weather science and the life of a meteorologist.

Wednesday, October 15 | 1 pm | Davis Library

Weather Awareness (Ages 16+) 

Learn about the life of a professional storm chaser. Chelsea Burnett of Texas Storm Chasers will share facts about lightning, tornadoes, hail and floods.

Monday, October 13 | 11 am | Davis Library
