Flamant Bar & Bistro celebrated its grand opening today and has begun serving European-inspired food and cocktails to the Plano community.

Flamant is the new sister restaurant to Michelin- and James Beard-recognized Rye and Apothecary on Lower Greenville, making it Walkabout Hospitality Group’s third concept in the Dallas area.
“Coming back to Dallas is exciting for us, as we’ve missed being a part of this community since the fire at our McKinney restaurant in 2022,” said Tanner Agar, the group’s creative director and CEO. “Like my favorite restaurants from [Spain and France], we’ve created a menu that’s more affordable and familiar than Rye and Apothecary while still being rooted in the creativity, passion and warm hospitality that define our company.”
The restaurant’s menu offers appetizers, entrees and desserts, including faux gras, wood-fired wagyu burger, mussels and crème brûlée cheesecake. Flamant also serves classic cocktails, as well as its own twists on certain classics, among other beverages.

The vibrant space seats 52 inside and 68 on the patio, with an open kitchen and red stone bar top. An indoor wall displays a 315-square-foot mural painted by local artist Jennifer Kindert.
Flamant’s opening hours are 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for lunch, followed by happy hour 3-6 p.m. and dinner until 11 p.m. Monday-Friday. During weekends, brunch is available 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. before dinner until 11 p.m. Saturdays and 10 p.m. Sundays.
“With live fire cooking, cocktails and lively energy, we’ve built a place where a European vacation can happen every day,” Agar said.
Flamant Bar & Bistro is located at 5880 State Highway 121 Suite 103b on the Boardwalk at Granite Park.
