Corporate news: Simpson Strong-Tie signs lease in Granite Park 6

The engineered structural connector and building solutions corporation signed a nearly 40,000-square-foot lease in Granite Park 6.
Earlier this month, Granite Properties announced that engineered structural connector and building solutions corporation Simpson Strong-Tie has signed a lease for nearly 40,000 square feet of office space in Granite Park 6.
The newly developed Granite Park 6 office building is helping Plano gain more corporations, signing five new leases in the past five months and landing itself at 58% leased.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Simpson Strong-Tie to Granite Park 6 and support their growth and expansion in North Texas,” Senior Managing Director of Granite Properties Paul Bennett said. “Leasing momentum at Granite Park 6 is very strong. We have signed five leases over the past five months with prominent companies that desire a highly amenitized and elevated work experiences to benefit their employees and clients.”
Though headquartered in California, the new Plano office will help the corporation establish a strong labor market with close proximity to its McKinney production facility, which designs and manufactures structural connectors and other construction solutions for a multitude of applications.

The 11th and 12th floor Simpson Strong-Tie build-out will be completed by OTJ Architects and Pacific Builders on the project, with an estimated move-in date by the end of the year.
