Plano’s newest restaurant, Tokyo Shokudo, is bringing an authentic “Teishoku” dining experience to Plano with their first brick and mortar store.

Teishoku is a type of Japanese set meal where all dishes in a course are served together. Tokyo Shokudo brings together these sets with menu items like takoyaki, gyoza and shrimp tempura for appetizers, chicken karaage, ponzu oroshi pork, Japanese curry and beef sukiyaki for the main course paired with rice, miso soup and pickles. The Japanese eatery has over 100 items, including a kid’s menu, drinks like draft beer, sake and wine and Japanese parfaits for dessert.

Tokyo Shokudo opens to the public Thursday, September 15 and will open daily for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is located at 4709 Parker Rd.
