  1. Buzz into August; Explore Bee Programming at the Library (All Ages)

Join us this August as we celebrate the fantastic world of bees!

In All About Bees, discover the buzzing biodiversity of Texas, home to hundreds of native bee species alongside honey bees. Learn how these tiny pollinators power our ecosystems and what you can do to protect them.

Then, don’t miss Happy Bee Day! Stop by for a day of fun and learning as we celebrate bees and their vital role in our environment. From hands-on activities to pollinator-friendly tips, there’s something for every bee-lover in the hive.

  1. Try your hand at Needle Felting (Ages 16+)

Curious about needle felting? Join us for Needle Felting for Beginners. This program includes a live demonstration and hands-on activity where participants will learn how to turn wool into whimsical creations! You’ll walk away with the skills to complete a simple project—and maybe a new hobby. Supplies are limited, so arrive 30 minutes early to claim your spot.
