North Texas Performing Arts‘ Collegiate Pursuits announced its inaugural Pursuits Prescreen Bootcamp, a three-day training experience for high school students working on their college audition process.
From July 31 to August 2, college faculty from multiple programs will conduct mock auditions and provide individualized feedback.
“This bootcamp is designed to meet students exactly where they are in their audition journey,” Collegiate Pursuits Program Director Kameron Knott said. “By focusing specifically on the prescreen audition materials, we’re giving students the opportunity to test their material, receive diverse feedback, and leave feeling confident and prepared to film their pre-screen auditions in August.”
The program will also include overviews of each college’s performing arts program.
The boot camp is open to grades 10-12 and will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NTPA Plano on Fridays and NTPA Dallas on Saturdays and Sundays. Tuition is $450.
