ChaHalo brings Chinese milk tea brand to Plano

Legacy Drive and Central Expressway gained a new milk tea spot this week, complete with opening specials.

Popular Chinese milk tea brand ChaHalo has officially opened its sixth U.S. location in Plano this week.

The menu highlights milk tea concoctions like the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, which features oolong tea mixed with milk and osmanthus (an evergreen shrub in the olive family) fragrance.

“I’ve been dreaming about this moment for such a long time. For more than a year, I’ve been planning, preparing, working hard, and putting so much love into making Cha Halo a reality. And now, I can finally say it: the dream is coming true,” owner Eva Wu, who also runs home bakery Eat Eat Dessert & More in McKinney, said in an Instagram post. “To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, helped me, and stayed by my side throughout this entire journey – thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant more to me than I can say.”

During their soft opening from Aug. 18-20, drinks are buy-one-get-one 50% off, and a horse charm is given to those who post about the opening. During the grand opening from Aug. 21-23, drinks are buy-one-get-one 50% off, and the first 300 customers will receive an exclusive magnet.

ChaHalo is located at 6809 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500.
