Malai Kitchen's classic dishes are now in a more casual format with Plano's new Brya Zan Thai Noodle + Brew, located at Park and Preston.

The creators of Dallas’ Malai Kitchen have brought a new concept to Plano — Brya Zan Thai Noodle + Brew.

The concept was born out of Braden and Yasmin Wages’ desire for a quicker format of Malai Kitchen’s dishes.

“We’ve been working on this concept quietly for years,” said co-owner Yasmin Wages. “While we perfected the operations and consistency at Malai, we were also envisioning a place where guests could enjoy their favorite dishes faster, without compromising quality or flavor. Brya Zan is the result.”

Menu highlights include pad thai, drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice, along with drink options like in-house brewed craft beers, iced coffees, teas and frozen cocktails.

Differing from Malai Kitchen concepts, guests can order via the brand’s web-based ordering platform, self-service kiosks and counter ordering.

“Our vision was to create a space that gives guests more time for the things they love, without having to sacrifice a quality, healthy meal,” said chef/owner Braden Wages. “We’re pairing a streamlined experience with the bold flavors and hospitality we’ve built our name on.”

Brya Zan is located at 1909 Preston Road and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
