Plano-based Cinemark is celebrating National Cinema Day

Celebrate National Cinema Day this Sunday with dozens of films available at Plano's Cinemark locations for $4 per ticket.

Cinemark is inviting movie lovers to celebrate National Cinema Day this Sunday, August 27 with $4 tickets, concession deals and plenty of new releases.

Tickets for all movies in all formats, including Cinemark XD, IMAX, D-BOX and 3D all qualify for the $4 ticket deal, not including taxes and fees.

Cinemark West Plano XD and ScreenX will be showing Blue Beetle, Strays, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Meg 2: The Trench, American Graffiti 50th Anniversary, Golda, Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, Jurassic Park: 30th Anniversary, Retribution, The Hill, Beauty and the Beast (1991) and The Super Mario Bros. Movie. 

Cinemark Central Plano will be showing Blue Beetle, Strays, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Meg 2: The Trench, Talk to Me, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, The Little Mermaid – Sing-a-long, Akelli (Hindi with English subtitles) and Dream Girl 2 (Hindi with English subtitles.)

Cinemark Legacy and XD will be showing Blue Beetle, Strays, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Meg 2: The Trench, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Haunted Mansion, Talk to Me, Jailer (Tamil or Telugu with English subtitles), Sound of Freedom, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Back on the Strip, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Oldboy, Jules, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Boonie Bears: Guardian Code (Mandarin with Chinese and English subtitles), Ghoomer (Hindi with English subtitles), Mr Pregnant (Telugu with English subtitles), OMG -2 (Hindi with English subtitles), Porco Rosso (Japanese with English subtitles), Prem Kumar (Telugu with English subtitles), Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Hindi with English subtitles) and The Moon (Korean with English subtitles.)

Cinemark is also ofering $1 off any-size popcorn, soda and candy to celebrate the occasion.
