Comedy Moms Performing for Plano Charity

Heather Knox will be one of several comedian performing on Thanksgiving Eve at the Plano House of Comedy.

You could spend the night before Thanksgiving prepping for the big day.  Or, you could come to the Plano House of Comedy at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 and laugh the night away.  Comedian and producer Heather Knox will be presenting her comedy show series, Comedy Moms – Leave the Turkeys at Home!

Comedy Moms is a stand-up comedy series featuring national headliners along with up-and-coming mom comedians. The upcoming Plano show will feature Knox, as well as fellow stand-up comedians Sylvia Mc Bateman, GBaby, Crist Guzman, Britainy Goss, Angelia Walker and Karith Foster. These moms have made appearances on Oprah, HBO Max, Comedy Central, Showtime at the Apollo, The Today Show, Howard Stern, VH1, Funniest Comic in Texas, State Fair of Texas, Plano Comedy Festival, “The Dad” and more.

“You deserve a night of total freedom without all of the interruptions before the holiday frenzy,” Knox says. “This incredible mom lineup has made Oprah and Whoopi laugh and it’s one special night just for you.”

Proceeds from the show will go to the Dallas & Northeast Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. It’s an organization that has a close place to Knox’s heart because her dad died from ATypical Alzheimer’s.”

Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased at  tx.houseofcomedy.net.
