Planoites need a little something to look forward to doing when the world starts spinning again. Corky’s Gaming Bistro will provide a welcome distraction when it opens in Plano this summer, occupying the space on Central Expressway near Park Blvd. that previously held Furr’s Fresh Buffet.

In August 2018, Corky’s opened its first location in Grapevine, located near the Grapevine Mills Mall. Because of its success, the team is opening a second location here in Plano. At the Plano location, visitors will find axe throwing, duckpin bowling, an arcade of classic games like PacMan, Galaga and more, plus a restaurant and bar.

Corky’s Gaming Bistro is all about bringing family, friends and coworkers together for some carefree fun, but Sales Manager Charla Brown ensured that the plan is to be as cautious as possible upon opening to the public, with health and safety in mind for guests, staff and the community. Residents can stay updated through its website with safety measures and precautions that will be taken.

Specials will be offered throughout the week, including Sunday Funday, Monday Mania and Wine Down Wednesday. Though the entertainment center will not be taking party reservations until a grand opening date is set, residents can follow along on social media for Plano updates. Interested residents can also apply for a job at the Plano location.
