Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House Now Open at Legacy West

The new Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House at Legacy West celebrated its grand opening in style this past week with a cocktail party fit for every discriminating taste.

Prompt and courteous staff served mountains of king crab, oysters and shrimp along with beef sliders, lobster corn dogs and decadent pastries. A packed house, the invitation-only event showcased the ambiance and enthusiastic service Del Frisco’s has to offer.

“This is an incredible dining facility where memories will be made in the city of excellence,” Mayor Harry LaRosiliere of Plano said, who was in attendance. “Whether it’s graduations, anniversaries or prom — Del Frisco’s provides that opportunity.”

Guests will find that the 14,000 square-foot space is not short on places to celebrate those memories — whether in one of the five dining areas, four private dining rooms or the posh outdoor covered patio. There are 446 seats to choose from, a nearly 9,000 bottle wine wall of more than 1,000 diverse labels from all over the world to gaze at and two full-service bars, one of which is on the second story offering outstanding views of the parks and Legacy West.

Del Frisco’s, known to be an award-winning classic American steakhouse, boasts bold, chef-driven cuisine. Favorites such as the Thick-Cut Nueske’s Bacon Au Poivre, Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Charred Octopus are all on the menu. Signature steaks include the Wagyu Akaushi Eye of Ribeye, 45 day dry-aged Prime Ribeye, 28 day wet-aged Filet Mignon and Bone-In Prime Strip are all on the menu. And of course you’ll find a grand array of fresh seasonal seafood featuring the Broiled Lobster Tail and Seared Chilean Sea Bass.
