DFW Restaurant Week features 11 Plano eateries geared up to donate to North Texas Food Bank

Knife Steakhouse is one of 11 Plano restaurants participating in the charity event.
Eleven Plano favorites are joining DFW Restaurant Week this season with special menus dedicating sales to NTFB.

DFW Restaurant Week is coming back to the Plano area August 4 through September 4 with 11 Plano restaurants participating. Here’s what we know so far:

CRU Food & Wine Bar will be participating in all four weeks, along with the preview weekend. They will be offering two three course dinners, one priced at $39 and the other priced at $49.

Del Frisco’s will also be participating in all four weeks. They will offer a signature experience meal priced at $99. They have not released their menu at the time of publication.

EBESU will be participating in all four weeks. They will be offering a three-course dinner priced at $49 as well as a signature-experience meal priced at $99. They have also yet to publish their menu.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will be participating in all four weeks of the event, as well as the preview weekend. They will be offering a two-course lunch priced at $24, a three-course dinner priced at $49 and a signature experience priced at $99.

Fogo de Chao will only be participating in the main week of the event and they will be offering a three course dinner priced at $49.

Knife Steakhouse will be participating in all four weeks. They will be offering a two-course lunch priced at $24 as well as a signature-experience meal priced at $99. 

Moxies will be participating in all weeks of the event, including the preview weekend. They will be offering a two-course lunch priced at $24, a weekend brunch priced at $29 and a three course dinner priced at $49.

Pappas Delta Blues will only be participating in the main week of the event. They will be offering a two-course lunch priced at $24 and a three-course dinner priced at $39.

Princi Italia will be participating in all weeks of the event, as well as the preview weekend. They will offer two three-course dinners, one priced at $39 and the other priced at $49.

Steve Fields Steakhouse will be participating in all weeks of the event, as well as the preview weekend. They will offer a three-course dinner priced at $49 and a signature-experience meal priced at $99.

The final restaurant participating is Tommy Bahama. They are only participating in the three extension weeks and will be offering a two-course lunch priced at $24.

The event is separated into one main week, a preview weekend beforehand and three follow-up ‘extension weeks’. Preview weekend is August 3-6, and the main week is August 7-13. The three ‘extension weeks’ are August 14-20, August 21-27, and August 28-September 3. Restaurants can choose to participate in any of the weeks. 

During the event, restaurants will offer meals at a variety of price points ranging from a $24 lunch to a $99 signature experience, with roughly 20% of the customer’s total bill being donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Each meal’s price is per person.

Last year, the event raised a total of $253,970 for the North Texas Food Bank.
