Eddie V’s opens in Plano August 18

Eddie V’s Prime Seafood will open its first Plano location Aug. 18 at 5300 State Highway 121 near the Preston Village Shopping Center.  A spokesperson for the company says that visitors can expect, “a luxurious experience where fine dining meets a glamorous night out in a vibrant atmosphere complete with live music.”

The menu features fresh seafood flown in from daily as well as steaks and an extensive cocktail menu.  Signature items include a Chilean sea bass steamed Hong Kong style, parmesan sole and crab fried rice as well as desserts like bananas foster butter cake that is flambéed tableside and served with butter pecan ice cream.

 

The new Plano location will include 4 private dining rooms within the 10,701 square-foot space. The company is currently looking to fill about 75 jobs including servers, bartenders and host.

This will be the third Eddie V’s in the DFW area, joining locations on Oak Lawn in Dallas and West 7th Street in Fort Worth.  The restaurants has locations in 13 states, including 8 in Texas.  The first one was opened in Austin by Larry “Eddie” Foles and Guy Villavaso in 2001.
