The Grant Halliburton Foundation will kick off its 15th annual Hope Party season with an event at Simkhai in Highland Park Village on Thursday, July 25 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Grant Halliburton Foundation aims to provide mental health education to North Texas youth and their families. The foundation was established in 2006 in memory of Grant Halliburton, a teen who attended Plano West High School. Grant suffered from depression and bipolar disorder before committing suicide at the age of 19. Since its creation, the Grant Halliburton Foundation provided mental health education and support to over 325,000 students, educators and parents.
Event attendees will learn more about the foundation and shop Simkai‘s Fall 2024 collection. Bistro 31 will serve food and wine. The event will also explain more about the fall gala.
The Hope Party will be hosted on Friday, November 22, at the Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas. The gala offers dinner, dancing, a wine and spirits pull and multiple auctions.
To attend the launch event in Highland Park Village, RSVP to hopeparty@granthalliburton.org by July 22. The fall gala Hope Party sponsorships and underwriting opportunities will be made available online on Thursday, July 25. Individual ticket sales start in September.
The event co-chairs include Emmy Award-winning and consumer rights activist Steve Noviello, Berry Corporation president Danielle Hunter and community volunteer and fashion industry expert Reed Robertson.
