Tech Titans: The Technology Association for North Texas, a regional trade association that aims to drive innovation in North Texas, is awarding Aligned Data Centers CEO and Plano resident Andrew Schaap with the 2023 Corporate CEO Award.
Schaap joined Aligned Data Centers, a Plano-headquartered company, in 2017 where he brought two decades of experience in managament and the data industry. Throughout his time as CEO, Schaap has lead a team of approximately 650 full-time employees to grow the business nearly three-fold, according to Tech Titans, with an approach that focuses on humility, promoting great ideas and radical integrity and transparency.
“At the core of the organization and Schaap’s leadership is the empowerment of employees with a focus on not being afraid to fail,” Tech Titans said in a press release. “Employees are empowered to make decisions quickly, yet thoughtfully, in an environment focused on removing obstacles and showcasing their best skills.”
The Corporate CEO award, sponsored by Comcast/Masergy, is one of 14 awards that will be presented at a gala on September 27 at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West hotel,
