Hub Streat closes after 4 years in Plano

Hub Streat restaurant and bar in Plano has closed after four years in business.  A sign posted on the front door thanked patrons for their support. Owners also shared the same message on Facebook this morning.

“We were so very fortunate to have built countless friendships and memories that we will always cherish,” the note said. “Sadly, along with many of our friends and neighbors, we too have closed our doors.”

The restaurant opened to much fanfare and was initially envisioned as a site for food trucks.  That concept never really gained traction, and trucks were soon nowhere to be found. The large patio area remained popular with many.  However, its location just off the main downtown area may have limited some foot traffic.
