JOY Macarons now open in Watters Creek Village

JOY Macarons is now open at 908 Watters Creek Boulevard in the Watters Creek Village shopping center. It is a Dallas-based, family-owned bakery offering a wide range of French macarons, macaron ice cream sandwiches, and house-made ice cream as well as its ever popular “Mac-shakes.”

Celiacs and gluten-haters out there should be especially excited. All JOY Macarons products are gluten-free.

The company opened JOY opened its first store in Oak Cliff back in 2014. It opened a second Dallas location on Greenville Avenue in 2016 and a third at the Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth one year later.

JOY Macarons ice cream sandwiches are also available at multiple restaurants, hotels, and retailers in the DFW area.

Founder Liz Lanier credits Patrick Crain, the founder and principal of Practice, an Architectural Office, for designing a bright and fun experience that compliments the nearby retail stores, restaurants and outdoor spaces at water creel.  She calls it the perfect environment for introducing JOY to new customers.

“We are thrilled to expand our store footprint into Collin County,” she says. “We also have lots of loyal fans nearby and the new store will give them a more convenient way to get their JOY.”
