A brand new location of the beloved La La Land Kind Cafe is set to open in the Shops at Legacy East, according to a Facebook post from the shopping center.

According to a listing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, La La Land Kind is moving into the former Soul Bird Chkn Shack site, which closed earlier this year. Construction on the new facility is scheduled to begin in late August and end in late November.

Along with a menu that includes a number of toasts with various toppings and a variety of pastries, the coffee shop sells a range of hot and iced coffee, matcha, and tea drinks. La La Land aims to be a company that can turn a profit while being ethical, giving back to the community, and providing high-quality products. The business also prioritizes recruiting and mentoring foster children.

There are eight La La Land locations in Dallas, including one that recently opened in Plano in February.
