Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10, and many restaurants in Plano have dining specials for the occasion.

Preorders for Uchiko’s annual tart boxes ($55) go live April 21. The boxes will be availeble for pickup May 9-10. A daytime lunch service (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) featuring a 10-course omakase will also be available for dinner (4 to 10 p.m.).

Princi Italia is celebrating with a three-course brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 10. For $58 per person, guests can choose from dishes like lobster ravioli, grilled salmon piccata, avocado caprese and rosemary-roasted beef tenderloin.

All day on May 10, Sixty Vines is serving a tender filet topped with cherry drizzle and Point Reyes blue cheese, a half Caesar salad and French fries, paired with the First Bloom cherry blossom martini.

May 9-10, Mexican Sugar is putting out a Petals & Pour board for $59, which features a bottle of Cava, fresh-pressed juices and a colorful tray of fruit to pair with Mother’s Day brunch.

May 8-10, Whiskey Cake is featuring The Queen’s Cut, a 6-oz. filet mignon topped with beef fat chimichurri, grilled chile-butter shrimp and a bright Caesar vinaigrette.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 10, Haywire’s brunch buffet will include chef-carved specialties, fresh seafood, a build-your-own taco station, classic breakfast dishes and a full spread of sweets and pastries for $59.95.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Legacy Hall is hosting a Mother’s Day Market, with handmade and curated gifts, live music and interactive experiences. Mimoses will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
