The community came together at Plano Municipal Center today for the 2020 Collin County Juneteenth Celebration, organized by Douglass Visions Committee. Douglass Vision Community is named for the Douglass Community, Plano’s historically Black neighborhood.
Participants remained in their cars throughout the entire drive-through event. Vendor booths included local nonprofit organizations, candidates for political office, fraternities, sororities and more. Wellhealth Frisco facilitated free, on-site COVID-19 tests, and Minnie’s Food Pantry donated boxes of produce to give away.
