The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) has named the Plano Chamber of Commerce as its 2018 Chamber of the Year.
This award is the most prestigious and competitive award presented by ACCE. Chambers honored with this award have demonstrated organizational strength and made a positive impact on key community priorities such as education, transportation and business development.
“The Plano Chamber has taken immense strides toward serving our vibrant business community,” said 2018 Board Chair Jeff Beckley. “The Plano Chamber has earned this award by focusing on the business community’s most important issues, serving as a critical thought leader and delivering meaningful results.”
Chambers of Commerce interested in competing for this prestigious award must first qualify through participating in a rigorous multi-stage process. The organizations entering into the competition must meet minimum thresholds in at least three of five key performance areas such as net revenue, net assets, membership account retention and membership dollar retention.
Jeff Beckley, board chair, and Jamee Jolly, president and CEO of the Plano Chamber, couldn’t be more proud of this accomplishment achieved through the hard work of the Chamber leadership, staff and members.
In order to celebrate this great honor, the Plano Chamber of Commerce is inviting all Chamber members and the community to a reception on Thursday, August 23 from 4–6 p.m. at 5400 Independence Pkwy, Suite 200.Plano Chamber of Commerce > [codepeople-post-map]
