Shops at Willow bend hosts event honoring police, fire

An Evening of Honor will take place on Thursday, May 14 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at The District at Willow Bend. Tickets are $50 + tax.

On May 14, The Shops at Willow Bend is hosting an event honoring Plano’s police and fire personnel called An Evening of Honor.

The event features food and drinks from Knife and Mexican Bar Company and entertainment from DJ Joe Ramierz, Mariachi Quetzal, Caliruma Dancers and a live jazz trio.

“By centering the event around two of The District’s leading restaurant partners, the initiative reflects a collaborative effort among tenants and stakeholders to support those who serve the community,” a press release stated. “‘An Evening of Honor’ aims not only to raise funds, but also to strengthen the connection between the community and its first responders through a shared, meaningful experience.”

The event will benefit Plano Police Association and Plano firefighters.

An Evening of Honor will take place on Thursday, May 14 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at The District at Willow Bend, 2405 Dallas Parkway. Tickets are available online now for $50 + tax.
