Plano Conservancy wants your photos

It’s time to get those cameras ready.  The Plano Conservancy, a local nonprofit historic preservation organization, is asking residents to submit photos that tell the city’s story. All submission should relate to Plano history and include a caption of 50 words or less describing where the photo was taken and its connection to Plano’s past.

Judges will consider each photo’s quality, creativity and ability to tell a story about Plano history. Winners will be chosen from four categories: historic homes, historic buildings, historic cemeteries, and historic trains. They will receive copies of the books “Hidden History of Plano” and “Haunted Plano.”

Entries should be emailed to info@planoconservancy.org in JPG formant no larger than 4 MB. Multiple entries will be accepted, but individuals will only be allowed to win one prize.  The photo submission deadline is 5 p.m. Aug. 31.
