Prom season is upon us and The Boys & Girls Club of Collin County is partnering with Comerica Bank to host a prom dress shopping event for all Collin County area teens who need assistance.

The shop, located at the Boys & Girls Club’s Plano branch, will feature 380 new or gently used formal dresses and accessories that were collected by employees at six Dallas-area Comerica banking centers last month, totaling 6,590 dress donations in the last nine years. Project Beauty will also be providing Thrive Causemetics swag bags to all teens in attendance.

In honor of Comerica’s 175th anniversary, the bank has also partnered with Project Beauty to provide one teen from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas and Dallas CASA with a complimentary makeover valued at $175 on the night of their respective proms. Project Beauty also donated 60 dresses to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County from its annual prom dress drive in partners Legacy West.

The shopping event will take place at 1111 H Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.
