This morning, in honor of North Texas Giving Day, the Salvation Army of North Texas packed hygiene and care kits for those experiencing poverty and homelessness across the area.
The care kits included disposable razors, shaving cream, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste and more, according to a press release.
From 2 to 5 p.m., the Salvation Army Plano Corps, located at 3528 14th St. to prepare the kits.
