We know the buzz of New Year’s is long gone, but there’s no reason not to host a sophisticated cocktail party at home to celebrate the best things in life: Good friends, a new job, Fridays. We asked three of our favorite cocktail spots in Plano if they’d share a recipe with our readers. Clink, clink!

Jack Smash from Scruffy Duffies
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Jack Daniels
- 5 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. blueberry juice
- Splash of Sprite
- Pinch of mint leaves
Steps:
- Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake
- Strain over fresh ice in glass
- Top with Sprite
- Garnish with mint leaves

Tennessee Stud from Whiskey Cake
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz. honey
- 1/2 oz. water
- 2 oz. Tennessee whiskey
- 3/4 oz. lemon juice
- 2 dashes of orange bitters
- 1 dash of angostura bitters
- Orange peels
- Lemon peels
Steps:
- Add honey and water to a small saucepan
- Bring to boil over medium heat and stir until honey is dissolved
- Allow honey syrup to cool
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (except for peels)
- Add ice and shake
- Strain over fresh ice in glass
- Garnish with orange and lemon peels

Window Shopper from Prim and Proper at Neighborhood Goods
Ingredients:
- Handful of raspberries, strawberries and blackberries
- Splash of lemon juice
- Splash of water
- 1 oz. Ketel One vodka
- Splash of triple sec
- Splash of St. Germain
- 1/8 tsp. bitters
- Splash of champagne
- Lime slice
Steps:
- Blend berries, lemon juice and water together to make berry purée
- Measure 1/4 oz. of berry purée for cocktail
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (except champagne and lime)
- Add ice and shake
- Strain into champagne flute
- Add splash of champagne
- Garnish with lime slice and raspberry
