With last week’s stormy weather, several events have been rescheduled. RIP Fest will take place on Oct. 30 and For the Love of Art on Nov. 8.
“Our partnership with Golden Cross Academic Clinic first began in 2022, enabling us to refer our neighbors to healthcare services at their clinic as well as to provide health education classes through our Academy education program,” said Candace Winslow.
The annual award is given to a volunteer who goes above and beyond, sticking out among the 2,000 others that work with The Storehouse.
With nearly 2,000 coats distributed last year alone, The Storehouse is gearing up for the winter season and accepting coat donations now.
Proceeds from the car show will benefit The Storehouse Community Center, formerly known as The Storehouse of Collin County.
Amwins Specialty Auto recently became one of the first of 52 corporations The Storehouse is seeking to sponsor one week of food pantry operations.
Nine Academy graduates also received modern automotive service and repair certificates after a six-week course with Collin College.
