TEDxPlano 2024, Plano’s ninth annual independently organized TEDx event, is all set for April 6. This year’s theme is “Together We Go” with a lineup of speakers and experiences showcasing Plano and North Texas’ innovative community. Let’s see what’s in store.
This year’s speakers include:
- Ken Boone, a community planner and vice president at Olsson Studio
- Dan Jenkins, a real estate developer and Pickleball Kingdom Master Franchisee
- Alex Lee, president of Doosan Robotics Americas
- Maya Piata, folk artist
- Shalini Prasad, professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering graduate program at The University of Texas at Dallas
- Daymond Sands, program director for the North Texas Performing Arts Deaf Theatre
- Michael Thomas, CEO and founder of ConnectIDD

TEDxPlano will take place Saturday, April 6 at Robinson Fine Arts Center. Doors open at 2 p.m. for the lobby experience. Access to the auditorium begins at 4 p.m. and talks begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are $75 for adults, $25 for students or $50 for a ticket bundle with 4 or more adult tickets.
