Time running out to win “world’s most colorful shopping spree”

Local kids have until Nov. 7 to enter for the chance to win a “64-seconds of color” shopping spree at The Crayola Store in Plano. Dubbed the world’s most colorful shopping spree, three winners will have the opportunity to dash through the store and keep as many items as they can grab in 64 seconds.  The unusual time of the event is a nod to Crayola’s well-known box of 64 crayons.  Uniformed U.S. Marines will serve as “shopping carts,” doing their best to hold onto the items that each child picks out.

The annual shopping spree benefits Toys for Tots, a Marine-sponsored nonprofit that provides Christmas gifts to children in need. Crayola will match the items collected by contest winners and donate them to the organization.

Entry forms are available at the Crayola Store, which is located next to the Crayola Experience in the Shops at Willow Bend.  Admission to the Crayola Experience is not required to enter the contest. More information can be found at crayolaexperience.com.
