Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly this year, and Plano is full of date-worthy restaurants ready to make reservations. Four local restaurants are boasting dinners for the day of love: Urban Seafood Co., Urban Crust, Princi Italia and Mignon.
Urban Seafood Co. is offering a romantic 4-course meal for Valentine’s Day with east blue oysters, gulf crab stuffed portobello mushrooms, Maine lobster stuffed flounder, Rosewood TX wagyu short ribs and more. The specialty prix-fixe menu was crafted by Executive Chef Salvatore Gisellu for $75 per person.
Urban Crust is also hosting a specialty Italian menu with Gisellu that includes three courses for $44.90 per person.
Princi Italia is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner with a “best of” menu that includes Porcini braised short rib ravioli, lobster and tarragon bisque, grilled Angus filet mignon, grilled Branzino, chocolate mousse cake and more.
Mignon – Prime Steaks, Seafood and Cocktails is offering a Valentine’s Day 3-course menu with salad or soup, a choice of lamb, sea bass and steak options, and a choice of bread pudding or mousse cake. Mignon’s dinner is $94.95 per person.
In addition to these four restaurant’s Valentine’s menus, Tacodeli and Tommy Bahama are offering special dishes or drinks to celebrate the season of love.
Tacodeli is offering a special for dine-in, pick-up or delivery with the new Tacodeli Machaca for breakfast with braised pork over scrambled Vital Farms pasture-raised eggs adn topped with housemade pico de gallo. For lunch, the new Borracho is made with pork braised with sherry and tequila, cooked in a basil, chile and lime mix topped with onion, cilantro and avocado.
Tommy Bahama has created a cocktail for the holiday called Valentine’s Blush, with Tommy Bahama Gin, elderflower liqueur, ruby red grapefruit juice and a splash of soda, garnishes with a couple of sprigs of fresh tarragon and a grapefruit slice. The drink is available from February 1 – 14. Tommy Bahama also created a “Think Pink” inspired Valentine’s gift guide for the occasion.
