5 Days to The Good Stuff: The foodie scene

Count down to our The Good Stuff 10th Anniversary Block Party with 10 of "the good stuff" about Plano.

For the 10 days leading up to our 10th anniversary block party, we’re counting down 10 things we love about Plano by celebrating The Good Stuff. What is the good stuff, you ask?

Plano has an underrated foodie scene. Trust us – as the hosts of the Plano Foodies Facebook page, we get dozens of posts a day of foodies recommending their favorite restaurants, trying out new spots and even cottage cooks sharing their homemade dishes.

We also get to hear from some of you every year on the best eats around town. In this year’s best of competition, awards like this were given out:

  • Best Restaurant for a date – Urban Crust
  • Best Healthy Eating – Seasons 52
  • Best Place for Carnivores – Bob’s Steak & Chop House
  • Best BBQ Joint – Lockhart Smokehouse
  • Best Indian Food – Kumar’s
  • Best Bar/Pub Food – 32 Degrees Rooftop Bar
  • Best Seafood – Fish Shack
  • Best Mexican Food – Mexican Bar Company
  • Best Brunch/Breakfast – Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery
  • Best Southern/Homestyle Cooking – Norma’s Cafe
  • and many more!

Several Plano restaurants will also be serving up cocktails or food at our party this weekend! Catch Coco Beach, Urban Rio, Urban Seafood Co., Urban Crust and Ramen Belly at our anniversary event on Nov. 8.

You can still buy tickets here! Tickets are $10 and include two cocktails, light bites, entertainment and more. Ages 17 and under are free.
