3rd Annual Chips Charity Poker Tournament

This past Friday, March 25th, the Historic Downtown Plano Association (HDPA) hosted the 3rd Annual Chips Charity Poker Tournament. Located at the beautiful Rooftop Event Spot atop the Urban Oil and Gas building on 14th Street, the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament was attended by over 100 friends and supporters of HDPA. Live music was provided by musician Tony Ramey, and complimentary small bites and beverages were provided for a fun night out.

Nathan Shea, owner of Urban Crust and Urban Rio, eventually won the tournament, but the true winner of the evening was Downtown Plano. The charity event received record donations, more than double last year’s event. The funds raised from Chips will go to community programming and promoting the arts in the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District.

Some of the amazing prizes won throughout the evening included:
A trip to Vegas
A meal for a party of eight, prepared in your home by Chef Salvatore
Opening night tickets to Cabaret at the AT&T Performing Arts Center
Tickets to the Duck Commander Race at the Texas Motor Speedway
A Great Spirits Party for 20 people from Angela’s at the Crosswalk
Pavilion pass to the Emmitt Smith Celebrity Invitational
Tickets to the Jason Boland concert at the Texas County Music Series
Two tickets to Night Out on 15th
Four Mavericks courtside seats
A Taste of Downtown Plano gift basket
