Beginning April 28, the Colling College Theatre Department will present nine days of dramatic works written, performed and/or captured by students and faculty. “Emerging Works: A Collection of Devised Pieces” will feature 12 original pieces intended to give audiences a glimpse into the creative minds of young artists. They will include six original plays, two short films, two improvised performances, one animated story, and a devised multimedia piece with film and live staging.
The program will run April 28-30, May 1, and May 4-8 at the Plano Campus Black Box Theater. Evening performances for shows between April 28 and May 7 will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will also be matinees shows at 2:30 p.m. on May 1, 7 and 8.
Tickets are $10 for the general public, $5 for seniors 65 and older, and free for students. They may be purchased at collin.universitytickets.com
