Children’s Health Dog Days of Summer event brings magic to patients

Children's Medical Center Plano wrapped up the summer with a "Hairy Pawter" themed event celebrating the handlers and therapy dogs alike.

Children’s Medical Center Plano hosted their annual Dog Days of Summer event last week with a magical twist for Children’s Health patients.

At the start of the event, each child “adopted” a stuffed animal dog, which they carried with them throughout various activities with a “Hairy Pawter” theme. The patients were sorted into Hogwarts houses, played doggie quidditch, created their own wand and mixed potions during the event. Check out some photos from the magical day:
