The Texas Disability Hall of Fame will honor leaders with and without disabilities who are advancing accessibility and inclusion.

The North Texas Disability Chamber is accepting nominations now for the inaugural class of the Texas Disability Hall of Fame, honoring leaders, advocates and changemakers who have advanced accessibility and disability inclusion in Texas.

“We are excited to formally launch this new program with the hopes to partner with Texas-based regional and statewide disability organizations,” NTXDC President and CEO Dylan M. Rafaty said. “Now is the time to start recognizing individuals with and without disabilities who have demonstrated lifelong contributions to advocacy, leadership, and service to further advance accessibility and disability inclusion in Texas.”

An online nomination form is open now through December 31. Nominees will be screened by a selection committee before being presented to the North Texas Disability Chamber’s executive board for final vote and approval.

Those who are selected will be honored at the NTXDC Annual Meeting in February 2026.
