Celebrate Black Business Month at Legacy West

August is Black Business Month and Legacy West is celebrating with pop-up shops every weekend all month long in the Starbucks Reserve Breezeway.

Starting August 4 and ending August 28, vendors from around the metroplex are setting up shop in Legacy West, selling jewelry, candles, cookies and more. The remaining schedule is as follows:

August 12: Creteation, The Greater Good Apparel Co., Jackson the Brand

August 13: Be So Selfish, Kid’in Around

August 14: Aubri Jaiel Beauty, House of Dasha, Shop Mezai

August 19: Sparkle Co., The Artistry of Essential Oils, Confetti & Kindness

August 20: Creteation, Nu Standard, Kid’in Around

August 21: Be So Selfish, Nu Standard, And-Made By Hand

August 26: Newton’s Sassy Sauce, Charmaine Marshall, Ezra Coffee Co.

August 27: Be So Selfish, Nu Standard, Studio Nine Seven Two

August 28: V.I.P. Lippy, Tuffbaby’s Organic Essentials

August 28 in Legacy Hall: Hair by Akoni, Sparkle Co., The Greater Good Apparel Co., Jackson the Brand, House of Dasha, Charmaine Marshall, Customiced Designs

To end the Black Business Month celebration, Legacy West is hosting a free Urban Trivia Game Night at Legacy Hall. DJ Almost Famous and Stanley Newcomer will be playing live music while participants’ knowledge of Black culture, from TV shows to athletes to historical figures. Seating is first-come, first-serve and the first 40 people will receive complimentary drinks.
