The Boardwalk at Granite Park will host a series of Summer Night Markets in partnership with Lively Local Markets. This shopping and dining event will be held throughout the summer on June 21, July 19, August 16 and September 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Lively Local Markets organizes markets and pop-ups to highlight local creatives and links them with consumers.
At the markets, you can find food and drink from onsite restaurants including Blue Mesa, Chip’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers, The Biscuit Bar, Union Bear Brewing Co. and Suburban Yacht Club.
Attendees can also see local craftsmanship. Fifteen to 30 artisans and makers will display their handmade items for sale. Vendor applications are open to community crafters through the Lively Local Markets website.
The initiatory Night Market on June 21 will be themed “Back to the ’80s”. A DJ will play the greatest hits from the ’80s and today. The first market-goers will receive ’80s-themed candy swag bags (while supplies last).
The Night Markets aim to provide a “fun, relaxed atmosphere” for foodies and shoppers. The event is free to attend and family-friendly.
The boardwalk is located on the southeast corner of the Sam Rayburn Tollway and Dallas North Tollway with free parking.
