The Hope Run for Hunger Event will raise funds for firefighters, educators, and other individuals in need within the South Dallas area.
The expansion aims to offer the privacy of a single-family home while maintaining a sense of community for older adults in the community.
Young Men’s Service League brings mothers and high-school aged sons together for life skills classes and community service projects.
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as they can, as applications close on March 8 or after 400 applications are received.
The benefit, called Tacos, Tamales, Trivia y Mas, will feature a Mexican dinner, trivia and a silent auction.
The event will feature an interview with Aubrey, food from area restaurants and auctions benefiting the scholarship foundation.
Those that donate canned goods during the campaign – starting Jan. 15 and ending on Super Bowl Sunday – will receive $5 fowling open play.
Registration opens soon for a time slot in the closet, and donations of dresses, accessories and shoes are being accepted now.
