Customers at the restaurant group FB Society helped donate $148,000 to the North Texas Food Bank this month, translating to about 446,000 meals.
FB Society is the restaurant group behind Plano’s Legacy Food Hall, Haywire, Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, Son of a Butcher, Sixty Vines, Mexican Sugar Cocina y Cantina and other area restaurants.
The group donated 10% of net Tuesday sales across the month of February at each FB Society restaurant.
“We’re proud of what this team built in year one, and grateful to every guest who joined us in supporting North Texas Food Bank,” said Jack Gibbons, CEO of FB Society. “From the beginning, this was about more than a campaign. It was about showing up for the community we call home. Hunger is a real and urgent challenge in our own backyard, and Food Bank February gave us a way to make a big impact together.”
The donation was presented to the food bank by executives from the restaurant group and Sixty Vines.
