Roads are being sanded, buildings are closing and jury duty and teen court have been canceled. Here's an update on closures.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful. In the 20s in fact. Everything seems to be closed, and the City of Plano has an update.

The Public Works Department currently has 10 trucks out sanding bridges, intersections, fire stations, police stations and other critical facilities.

Closures include Texas Pure Products, recreation centers, library locations, animal shelters, customer and utility services, the Adrian Magallanes Day Labor Center and the municipal court and clerks office.

All Jury Trials scheduled for February 1, 2023, have been canceled and will be rescheduled. Jurors will be reset and summons will be mailed to the address on file.

Trash and recycling will not be collected today. Teen Court has been rescheduled for February 20.

Winter weather may affect scheduled hours for the remainder of the week. Plano Overnight Warming Stations held 148 people overnight.
