‘The College Tour’ Amazon series to premiere Collin College episode on Oct. 15

Collin College's episode features 10 students, two of which are from Plano, as they discuss their experiences at the college.

The College Tour, a series traveling the globe highlighting colleges and universities through student stories, is featuring a Collin College episode, set to air on Amazon Prime Video on October 15.

According to a news release, the show’s stop at Collin College was the first junior college in Texas to be featured on the series.

“We are excited to share with the world the phenomenal students and employees who represent Collin College,” said Neil Matkin, Collin College district president. “By highlighting these 10 students and their unique journeys, future students and their families can become familiar with the amazing services and opportunities Collin College offers.”

The episode is 30 minutes long and features 10 student segments, including Planoites Maryalisis Hernandez and Giovanni Gelgadillo.

Hernandez is a criminal science major who discussed the college’s resources for first generation students, while Delgadillo is a respiratory care program student who highlighted the facilities and opportunities the college provides to those interested in the healthcare field.

While the episode will not go live until October 15, The College Tour‘s 12th season is available now on the show’s app and website. Individual segments are also available on Collin College’s website.
