Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the widely known barbecue chain with locations across the U.S., is launching a new concept. Wing Boss is a virtual restaurant that offers delivery service only and will feature chicken tenders and pit-smoked wings.
The idea for the virtual kitchen started at the original Dickey’s location in Dallas, and has now expanded to more than 40 locations. It will debut in 20 more locations this month, including delivery to Plano zip codes.
“Wing Boss not only makes our pit-smoked wings and tenders more accessible, it’s also an innovative business model built to cater to today’s times. Laura Rea Dickey.
The menu offers group packs, combos or by-the-piece wings and tenders. The wings are bone-in or boneless, and all pit-smoked over hickory wood. There are a variety of dry rubs and sauces offered including Atomic, Sweet Chili, Barbecue Dry Spice and more. Tenders are served with a choice of sauce. Also available on the menu are French fries, coleslaw, mac and cheese, veggie sticks, Texas toast, cookies, brownies and pie.
Wing Boss is available through UberEats, GrubHub and DoorDash.
