Edith’s Neighborhood Bistro, a casual french-inspired eatery, is now open at CityLine.
The locally owned restaurant offers everything from decadent desserts and pastries to savory menu items including sandwiches, salads, seafood and French staples such as quiche and omelettes. In addition to the bakery and chef-driven menu, Edith’s also offers a full bar with handcrafted cocktails and an assortment of beer, wine and champagne. On weekends, a brunch menu boasts sweet and savory crepes, waffles and more.
“We scratch make all of our food and change our menu every few months so there’s always something new to try and experience,” said Omar Adame, executive chef and partner.
Some top menu items include the chicken and sausage cassoulet made from scratch using locally sourced products. Other fan favorites include the French dip, the chicken and croissant, and the duck and waffles.
“We are thrilled with the opening of Edith’s at CityLine, bringing our guests a taste of wonderful French cuisine,” Jessica Robertson, director of marketing for CityLine. “Edith’s is a great fit for our wide range of food and drink options along the popular State Street, where there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
In the coming months, the restaurant plans to offer a high-tea service as well as various cooking and pastry classes, similar to its offerings at the Edith’s French Bistro location at The Boardwalk at Granite Park.
Edith’s is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
