North Texas Performing Art’s Plano Children’s Theatre is turning 25 and its McKinney Youth Theatre is turning 10, so it’s time to celebrate!
Join NTPA for “Havana Nights” on Friday, October 21 from 6:30-11:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in McKinney. The public is invited to attend the “Old Havana Style” celebration. Funds raised from the event will benefit the capital campaigns for new theatre facilities, including Plano Children’s Theatre’s move to its new space at The Shops at Willow Bend in 2017.
The evening will host two celebrations: “Havana Nights” for the adults and a separate “Heart of Havana” celebration for kids. After all, a theatre centered around children certainly wouldn’t omit its youngest fans.
“Havana Nights” Adult Celebration:
• Live performances from professional vocalists and selected acts from the NTPA theatre family
• Roulette, blackjack and other casino games
• Cigar veranda outside
• Silent auction featuring trips, gifts, sports memorabilia and more
• Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, dessert and refreshments
• Cash bar available
“Heart of Havana” Kids Celebration:
• Ballroom adjacent to the adult celebration
• Live entertainment and performances
• Professional DJ
• Photo booth
• Games and dancing
• Adult supervision provided
• Adults with a ticket to “Havana Nights” are welcome to pop in and celebrate with their kids
