Horns & Tails, Texas Wildlife in Watercolor, continues at the Courtyard Theater Gallery through Sept. 9. The exhibition by local artist Amy Pagan is not just art but also a fun way to learn a little about Texas.
“Every piece is named in honor of Texas landmarks, neighborhoods and historical figures, so the show is not just art, but a game of Texas trivia,” she says.
Pagan has received notoriety for hosting weekly only art classes during the pandemic. The free lessons attracted 120,000 people from across the globe at one point.
The Courtyard Theater gallery’s normal hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, those times are subject to change depending on the timing of other events and staffing issues.
