Lacrosse Unlimited Opens in Preston Village

Lacrosse Unlimited, which bills itself as the world’s largest lacrosse equipment supplier, opened its newest store Wednesday in the Preston Village Shopping Center at 8600 Preston Road in Plano.

The Edgewood, New York-based store was founded in 1990 by avid lacrosse players the DeSimone Family. Since then it has become one of the leading global retailers of men’s and women’s lacrosse equipment, apparel, and footwear. The company currently operates 47 locations in 14 states.  This is their third retail store to open in Texas, following in the footsteps of the company’s Austin and Houston locations.

“We’re so excited to be opening a third retail store here in the state of Texas,” company Founder and CEO, Joe DeSimone said. “Whether you’re a seasoned lacrosse pro looking for some new gear, or a beginner just starting out, our fully stocked store has all the latest helmets, sticks, uniforms, and protective equipment for athletes, coaches, and fans of the sport.”

The new store will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lacrosse Unlimited is also still working on filling out its staff.  Check out the job board on their company website if you think you might be interested.
