Daq’s Luxury Daiquiri Lounge is hosting a free comedy show this Friday for Labor Day titled Labor Day Loves & Laughs.
The date night-inspired show will feature Celebrity the Comedian and live music from The DJ & The Drummer Collective. The daiquiri lounge will have two showings on Friday, September 2 at 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. While there is no cover charge, reservations are required and can be made at www.daqsallfolks.com.
Daq’s opened a little over a year ago with a “Coat Drive-Through,” starting their reputation as a community-oriented business. Owners Dominique and Cory Jones provided a free daiquiri to those who donated coats.
This reputation continued this month with a backpack drive where the Jones’ purchased backpacks themselves and gave out free daiquiris to customers who donated school supplies to fill them.
Daq’s is located in Preston Village Shopping Center at 8700 Preston Rd.
