MC Trivia at Angela’s at the Crosswalk

Editor’s Note: As of July 4, 2018 MC Trivia has moved to Wednesday nights at Hub Streat in downtown Plano.

In case you don’t have enough random information floating around in that noggin of yours, or you just want to play a fun game, Mike Mazur and Curtis Gittinger are help to help. The duo is making Plano a little smarter, one inane question at a time. The guys are so good at it that on March 8 they’ll be celebrating their one year anniversary of bringing trivia geeks together at MC Trivia every Wednesday night at Angela’s at the Crosswalk.

The night is seriously fun. Plus, in just 20 questions, you will leave smarter on a variety of topics. Teams or individuals can play MC Trivia for free while eating, drinking and making merry. Mike and Curtis are committed to finding new and interesting topics each week. They even create a special musical playlist to accompany that week’s questions.

The guys have several diehard trivia teams that come out and play every week, but new faces show up every week as well. You may recognize Mike from Plano Children’s Theatre, where is managing director, or the Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk, where he often emcees.

With their quit wit and comic personalities, Mike and Curtis lead players through an evening of entertainment that includes, but is not limited to, random hollering, dancing in the aisles, chatting with strangers at the table next to you, belting out that great song being played and holding your pee because your team is depending on you and you cannot – absolutely CANNOT – miss the next question!

Sounds fun, right? The winning team of the evening gets to suggest a category for the next week’s trivia game. I mean, who doesn’t want to be quizzed about Celtic punk rock, the Daytona 500 or Oscar hosts? You know you do.

MC Trivia is every Wednesday night at Angela’s at the Crosswalk, beginning at 8pm and usually lasting until 10pm. Come early to dine.
