Celebrate ‘Neath the Wreath’s 27th Extravaganza!

Buckle up, neighbors. It’s finally that magical time of year: ’Neath the Wreath is back for its 27th extravaganza.

For area newbies, ’Neath the Wreath is the Junior League of Collin County’s holiday gift market, returning once again to Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center, Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 10-13.

Shoppers can get a jump on thousands of must-have merch items by attending the Ladies’ Night Out Preview Party Nov. 9, where guests can pre-shop, enjoy sips and bites, vie for exquisite silent auction items and enter raffles for exceptional prize packages, says League president Kara Olson.

With about 130 merchants displaying unique wares, ’Neath the Wreath annually averages more than 13,000 attendees who know what a true find this event is.

“This is a one-stop holiday shopping opportunity where our guests can find any and everything for family, friends and even pets,” Olson says.

“We have diversity of merchants who bring high-quality accessories, gourmet food, jewelry, ladies clothing, children’s items, holiday and home décor, and more.

“Each year, vendors have to apply to participate in ’Neath the Wreath. We have a blind merchant jury that does a mindful job of mixing things up,” she says. “Even fan favorites have to go back through the jury every year.”

Olson says this year’s theme is “A Gift to Remember”.

“The Junior League of Collin County is diligent about putting money back into our community,” Olson says. “’Neath the Wreath is the League’s largest fundraiser, and it enables us to train volunteers in support of our community agency partners and help other non-profits.”

Many guests say “I’m just here to shop,” she says, but once they see how beautiful the market looks, they start taking pictures.

“Even first-time merchants are blown away at the success of the event. The League loves this because it allows us to help small business owners and women merchants. Since we are a women’s organization, we especially like helping women succeed.”

Safety first: Rolling carts, rolling bags, wagons and pets are not allowed. Service animals and mobility equipment are allowed. Wheelchair ramps are accessible at the center.

Market hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and Saturday; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 online or at the door. Tickets for the Nov. 9 VIP Preview Night are $150 to enter at 6 p.m., and general admission $75 to enter at 7:30 p.m; Preview night is open from 6-10 p.m.

Insider’s tip: Discount tickets are available at any Collin County-based Market Street for $12.
